Review:
I have to start by saying this was not what I expected, by the title and design on the book I was expecting pirates but instead got a political intrigue story. But I have to say I loved it. I've recently discovered I really enjoy books with different points of view and in this one it definitely delivers. Ben is a sweetheart who I just want to hug, Lu is a badass with a tragic past who I also want to hug and Vex is a complicated soul who I want to hug as well...hmmm there's a pattern there lol. But honestly the story kept me intrigued throughout with a couple of twists I definitely did not see coming and the cliffhanger ending was just so cruel! Absolutely cannot wait for the next one.
