Synopsis:
It's been three years since Rowan and Citra disappeared; since Scythe Goddard came into power; since the Thunderhead closed itself off to everyone but Grayson Tolliver.
In this pulse-pounding finale to Neal Shusterman's internationally bestselling trilogy, constitutions are tested and old friends are brought back from the dead.
Review:
So at the end of Thunderhead Rowan and Citra were stuck at the bottom of the ocean, Goddard had sunk Endura and killed all the Grandslayers and the Thunderhead had discovered something it wasn't ever supposed to know. Someone must have a plan, right?
The answer is yes, quite a few people actually and they don't have the same goal in mind. This book was such a rollercoaster, I loved it. We follow a lot of different characters on their own paths (Goddard, Greyson, Citra, Rowan and Faraday being the main ones) but which weave and come together at different points. I really liked how well put together this book was, the time jumps at the start confused me briefly but it was soon cleared up. It's amazing how clever this book was, I really like the Thunderhead as a character and we got more development on that in this final volume. I enjoyed our old familiar characters as well as the new ones which were introduced. There were definitely some emotional moments in this book.
Overall I honestly loved it, I found it to be a bittersweet but satifying ending to the trilogy and I really like Neal Schusterman's writing.

For my patron historic I have chosen Jane Austen because I adore her books and I think she was an advocate for strong women in her time. My robes would be a light blue with her silhouette repeated around the bottom edging.
