Review:
This was a historical middle grade that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. I loved the Egyptian theme and the settings were described well. The characters were engaging and I very much liked how they didn't feel older than they were supposed to be which can sometimes happen in middle grade books. Admittedly one of the final revelations was a little convenient but there was no denying it was cute and it did work well with the story. If you like middle grade historical books I recommend this.

I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars.
