Review:
I buddy read this book with a group of friends and I think the majority of us really enjoyed it. It was interesting, fun, emotional and there were some twists I didn't see coming - which for YA fantasy is always a good thing. The romance involved was subtle and not at all the centre of the story, and the characters were engaging and unique. Also I liked the fresh perspective of it being the female lead who was logical and intelligent this is too often the role of the male lead in a book and it was so nice to see it this way around.
