This was a really fun and adventurous polar fantasy story. The characters were interesting and and I especially loved the sentience of the Frostsliver, getting to see that personality was especially interesting to me personally. The main character was likeable and I found myself rooting for her. The reveal mid-way through the book was great and added a compelling aspect to the story. The plot had a number of layers which worked well together as well as separately. A fun gripping read.
