Review:
This book tells the story of Puff, a squirrel who is the squire to the knight of his squirrel clan. When Puff's mentor disappears Puff sets out to find him so he can represent his squirrel clan in a game changing tournament.
Puff was actually really adorable, he's a little bit naive and can be whiny but his heart is in the right place. The supporting characters were cute too and I liked that he had friends outside of his own clan. It was admittedly written for a little younger audience than I expected, but it would be an enjoyable read for a young child. I did feel it sometimes wasn't sure where it was aiming itself, some words were highlighted to be explained at the back of the book which I didn't feel was necessary for all of them. And some of the violence was a little jarring considering the intended audience.
Overall I did enjoy reading this book but perhaps I would enjoy it more if I had young children to read it to or with.
