So in 2019 I set my goodreads target to 100 and managed to read a total of 162 books. Below are some stats about my year of reading.
So in 2019 I set my goodreads target to 100 and managed to read a total of 162 books. Below are some stats about my year of reading.
My best reading month was November 2019 in which I read 20 books and my worst was September when I read 8.
Genre wise the split was as follows:
Fantasy 100
SciFi 31
Historical 10
Contemporary 12
Thriller 4
Superheroes 4
Autobiography 1
NB: All sub genres are including in the overarching genre (i.e. urban fantasy, magical fantasy etc are all covered by Fantasy)
I read in different formats this year too.
43 Hardbacks
54 Paperbacks
41 Audiobooks
14 Graphic Novels
10 Ebook copies
(5 ebooks and 3 paperbacks were ARC copies)
104 books were YA
40 Middle Grade
18 Adult
87 of the books I read were published in 2019 with the remaining published before then.
I also DNF'd 3 books.
