Book Hooked Box - January 2020 Unboxing

In this post I am going to be unboxing the Book Hooked Box January 2020 box. (What follows will contain spoilers so please do not read if you don't want to know what is in the box)

Book Hooked Box is a bi-monthly book subscription box that focuses on YA novels and self care. Each box is made to create an indulgent and relaxing bookworm experience whilst keeping the price low.

The theme this month was Once Upon A Fairytale Retelling

The artcard was really nice and captured the idea of a fairytale planet really well.

                    

First up was a bookmark designed by Felfira Moon Designs with a Hunted quote on it and a Cinderell-HE candle by Ash & Quill Candles. I like the beautiful simplicity of the bookmark and the candle smells really sweet but fresh.

Next up was a Fudge and Marshmallow hot chocolate stirrer by Pendragon Drinks, I will leave the fudge pieces out of mine but looking forward to the rest of it one evening. These hot chocolate spoons are so tasty! There was also a cookie included which was in the shape of Snow White's dress. These vegan cookies are from Gardners Cookies and are a firm favourite of mine.

Lastly was a body polish called Pixie Dust by Ascent Bath and Body, I have never used a body polish before but I am going to give it a go at the weekend.

The book included in this box was Rogue Princess by B.R. Myers. The book also came with a letter from the author and a signed bookplate.

Synopsis:

I really liked this box, I like the focus on self care and I think a little indulgent night with a cookie, a hot chocolate and a good book is a nice thing to do once every couple of months. I have now subscribed to this box.
