The ABC book challenge - 'A'

I saw this on The Book Raven's blog and wanted to give it a go.

So the basic idea is each week will be a new letter and I have to chose my favourite books and books on my TBR which start with that letter.

So without further ado the first letter is 'A'.

Memorable/Favourite books beginning with 'A'

Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody

I read this at the end of 2018 and loved the intrugue. The audio narration was truly wonderful and I loved listening to it.

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire-Saenz

I read this in the middle of 2017 and fell in love. Contemporary isn't usually my thing but I really enjoyed the slow storytelling of this book. Audio narration by Lin Manuel-Miranda was also perfect.

Artemis by Andy Weir

I read this at the beginning of 2018 and loved the intrugue. This was a fun scifi romp and I had a lot of fun reading it. I loved Jazz and the setting I felt was really unique with a good plot too.

Aurora Rising by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

I read this in mid 2019 and enjoyed the feel of it. The ensemble of characters was great and it was yet another strong sci-fi from the awesome team of Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff.

Books on my TBR list which start with the letter 'A'

Aftermath by Chuck Wendig

I have had this on my TBR for a long time and really want to get around to reading it soon. I enjoy the Star Wars books but I have to admit I enjoy them more via audiobook a lot of the time. I think the production values are just incredible.

Atlas Alone by Emma Newman

I love Emma Newman's writing but it definitely deals with some deep heavy issues. I love reading her books but they definitely aren't quick or easy. I do want to read this and the previous book Before Mars.

Aurora Burning by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

This comes out in May 2020 and I cannot wait. I have my pre-order in already and am very excited to get my hands on it.
