Fairyloot Unboxing June 2017

This is the unboxing of the June 2017 FairyLoot box. (What follows will contain spoilers so please do not read if you don't want to know what is in the box)

FairyLoot is a monthly book subscription box mainly focusing on fantasy YA and YA crossovers. Each month you receive a new release book, mostly hardback and 4-6 bookish items which fit in with the theme.

The theme this month was Elementalists. (Spoiler filled post under the cut)

The artwork on the spoiler cards for the next few months is going to be by Taratjah and it is truly beautiful.

The first item I found in the box was a candle by Witchwood Remedies called 'Twister'. There were actually 5 different ones you could get all based around the book in this months box.

 

Next there was a triangle soap by Ascent Bath and Body called Clairvoyance, it smelt lovely and I am looking forward to using it. Then there was a vanilla lip balm by Geekyclean called 'Air Bender' which was obviously Avatar related. This was also a one in four variety with the others being earth, fire and water.

Next up was a set of three potion bottle shaped sticky notes by Fairyloot and a Hamsa hand bracelet by In The Moment, which was very pretty.

The last item in the box was a beautiful cushion cover by Miss Phi with a lovely bookish quote on it by Stephen King. I love bookish cushions and this one was beautiful.

The book this month was Roar by Cora Carmack.

Synopsis:

Also included was a letter from the author and a signed bookplate.

I liked this box. The fandom item, while not a fandom I know well, was useful and really nice and all the other items were lovely especially the cushion cover and the candle. Once again Fairyloot have produced a really strong box.
