Synopsis:
Paige Mahoney has escaped the brutal prison camp of Sheol I, but her problems have only just begun: many of the survivors are missing and she is the most wanted person in London...
As Scion turns its all-seeing eye on the dreamwalker, the mime-lords and mime-queens of the city's gangs are invited to a rare meeting of the Unnatural Assembly. Jaxon Hall and his Seven Seals prepare to take centre stage, but there are bitter fault lines running through the clairvoyant community and dark secrets around every corner.
Then the Rephaim begin crawling out from the shadows. But where is Warden? Paige must keep moving, from Seven Dials to Grub Street to the secret catacombs of Camden, until the fate of the underworld can be decided.
After finishing and really very much enjoying The Bone Season I couldn't not start The Mime Order immediately. It picks up almost directly after The Bone Season left off and throws you straight into the story. All of this book takes place in London where Paige has to deal with being back in Jaxon's gang after everything she experienced in Sheol I.
I really like Paige as a protagonist and feel for her and what she has been through and continues to go through. In this book we also learnt more about the other members of the Seven Seals and I really liked seeing the world expanding through the eyes of not only Paige but the others too.

I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars and I am super excited to move onto the next book The Song Rising.
