This book was my most anticipated read of 2017 and it definitely did not disappoint. There was action, romance, drama, humour and a whole host of emotions in this book. I especially liked that we learnt more about each of the Blackthorns, I came to care about them as a whole family unit as well as unique individuals. I do feel that with each book Cassandra Clare is growing as a writer and her books are becoming richer for it.
I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars and I am unsure how I am going to survive the wait for the last book in this trilogy.
