Review:
It took me a little while to settle into this one, our first main character Laia takes a while to find her confidence and voice. Whereas Elias was a far more compelling character right from the outset and his whole dilemma had me hooked. I also liked Elias and his friends, seeing how well they all worked together and who they were under their masks was really interesting.
The world building is superb and the writing style is easy to follow and flows really well. I am very much looking forward to the next book in the series which I hope to read before the third book comes out in June.
