Illumicrate Unboxing August 2019

In this post I am going to be unboxing the Illumicrate August 2019 box. (What follows will contain spoilers so please do not read if you don't want to know what is in the box)

The theme this month was Armed and Dangerous

First up was a beautiful mug which had a gorgeous A Darker Shade of Magic illustration of Kell and Lila and this months magnetic coin was Lila too!

Next up was a cutlery set with a weapon design on the case (cutlery set included a knife, fork, spoon and metal straw) and a small yellow bag with a small wand design on the front of it.

Next up was a bottle opener with a Scythe quote on it and a little bottle of bath and shower gel called Sister Apple's Surprise from Red Sister.

Also in the box we had a little added extra relating to the book of the month.

The book included in this box was Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir. The book also came signed with black sprayed edges.

Synopsis: 

The Emperor needs necromancers. The Ninth Necromancer needs a swordswoman. Gideon has a sword, some dirty magazines, and no more time for undead bull****. I thought this box was really good with some unique and interesting items. I especially loved the cutlery and the bottle opener. And while the colour isn't my favourite the bag is actually a lovely size and very useful.
