Review:
Moroda was a compelling read with rich world building and thoughtful characters. Even though this book focuses on the title character Moroda we do spend some time getting to know all of the characters and I definitely had my favourites.

Obviously I loved the dragons because, well, dragons but I also enjoyed the magic system too. I found that in particular to be unique and am looking forward to exploring that more.

One thing I felt let this book down was the way deaths were handled, at one point it felt like a sidenote which was a shame as I felt the characters deserved more and there were not many lingering reactions or consequences. I also felt the ending was a little abrupt but perhaps this will be picked up in book 2.

Overall though it was a good read and I am looking forward to continuing on with the series.

I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars.
