Review:

I listened to the audiobook of this which I borrowed from my local library. I first became aware of this book thanks to a promotional leaflet in a Fairyloot box and when I saw it was on the audiobook app from my local library I decided to give it a go.

I have to admit I almost gave up on it at the beginning as it was very repetitive which I know is all part of the story as it is from Flora's point of view and she had amnesia but it started to get on my nerves. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if I was reading rather than listening. The middle towards the end it started to get very good and had me hooked but then it seemed to end abruptly and didn't give me the resolution I really wanted.

I gave this book 2 out of 4 stars as I found it had so much potential but just missed the mark.
