Review:

I listened to this on audiobook and absolutely adored it! It was funny, sweet and moving at times. Dealing with serious topics in such a lovely way while not making the characters too stereotypical or perfect. Monty is not the most likable character to start with and he is definitely far from perfect, even at the end he isn't magically transformed but by that point you understand his selfishness and have travelled with him on his journey enough to get where he is coming from. The side characters are well written and diverse and the story takes a number of twists and turns while following the plot of the story. Overall a really enjoyable read and one that has definitely worked it's way into my heart.
