Review:

This was a very sweet little read. I could definitely tell it was written for younger readers but it was still well written and the story was nice. Other than the main character the rest weren't overly developed and this could get a little frustrating but I've noticed this seems to be a trend with books written for 10-12 year olds. Despite some of the endorsements mentioning magic I must say that there wasn't really any obvious magic in it and it was more legend and mysteries than magic.

I gave this book 3 stars.
