So this post is going to be an unboxing of the August 2017 Book & Nook box (What follows will contain spoilers so please do not read if you don't want to know what is in the box)
The Book and Nook box is a monthly subscription box which contains 5 4oz tin candles, 1 exclusive bookish item and 1 exclusive bookmark all pertaining to the theme of the month.
The theme for the month of August was Disney Wonders (Spoiler filled post under the cut)
The card was on top of the box along with the above bookmark which was super cute and I love the quote from Walt Disney.
Firstly I found a bracelet which was really pretty, it had the following charms on it - a castle, a rose, a red heart, a book and a snowflake.
The candles were as follows; Ariel's Secret Grotto - Coral, Sea Breeze and Treasures, Elsa's Ice Palace - Snow, Winter Berries and Ice, Rapunzel's Tower - Waterfalls, Peach and Linen, Aladdin's Magic Carpet - Spices, Magic and Frankincense and finally Beast's Library - Old books, Roses and Cedarwood. I loved most of these scents though Aladdin's Magic Carpet was very strong and Beast's Library wasn't very pleasant - I don't think the scents blended well together. But Ariel's Secret Grotto was absolutely gorgeous and definitely my favourite.
Overall though this was a great box and I also adored the labels too as you could tell time and consideration had been put into it all.
The next box is 'To Whatever End' and will focus on the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas. I've ordered that box so look out for that review once it arrives in September :)
