Week 3 - Wrap Up

Between Sunday August 27th and Saturday September 2nd I have managed to complete 3 books.

In order I completed them as follows:

I started with a book from the main Mage track which was the Book with a one word title – 

For this I read an arc copy of Shadowblack by Sebastien de Castell

I loved this book. It is a fabulous continuation of the Spellslinger series and we learn more about our beloved characters as they make their journey through the world.

I gave this book 5 stars. 

The second book I read was a side quest which was to MULTIPLAYER - buddyread a book, for this I read Roar by Cora Carmack with my best friend Karoline.

I have to admit the first few chapters of this book did not grab me and the main character kind of annoyed me but as we got further in she seemed to settle into her character and she endeared herself to me more. I also very much like the side characters and am looking forward to seeing where the series goes.
I gave this book a solid 4 stars.

And the last book I read completed the Mage track and it was a book based on mythology, for this I read Wonder Woman Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo.
It took me a while to clear my head of the movie and tv version while reading it but once I got into it I really enjoyed this book. It was fun and moving and a very enjoyable read.
I gave this book 4 and a half stars.

So in my third week I have read 3 books of which 2 are from the main Mage track and 1 is a side quest. We are entering the last week now and the end is getting closer.
