Review:
After a slow start I began to really enjoy this book, the characterization was strong after a somewhat weak/mixed start. The story gained momentum and the relationships were interesting and well developed. Overall I very much enjoyed this first in a new series, though the last couple of chapters did feel rushed and there was a POV section which seemed unnecessary.

Overall a promising start and a tentative 4 stars.
