Review:

I had heard a lot about this book before I started reading it and to be honest I struggled more than I expected to. It wasn't until I started ignoring the footnotes that I began to truly enjoy it. I just felt that, for me, the footnotes pulled me out of the story too much and once I stopped reading them I was able to just enjoy the story. The characters are all really interesting, there are lots of secrets and intrigue and so many plot twists and turns.

I gave this book 4 and a half out of 5 stars.
