Review:
I really liked this book. The characters are all well developed and interesting. I found Kamsin endearing and was rooting for her throughout the story, Tem is the sweet cinnamon roll character who I adore and River invites a lot of intrigue and mystery. Lusha I found to be the weakest character but we don't see an awful lot of her. The setting was well detailed and I loved the description of the mountains and all of the accompanying weather conditions. I also have to give a special mention to the animals in this who are all varied and unique. Overall I loved the magical mystery element to it and the race to the top of the mountain. I am very much looking forward to the next one.
