Fairyloot Unboxing November 2017

This is the unboxing of the November 2017 FairyLoot box. (What follows will contain spoilers so please do not read if you don't want to know what is in the box)

FairyLoot is a monthly book subscription box mainly focusing on fantasy YA and YA crossovers. Each month you receive a new release book, mostly hardback and 4-6 bookish items which fit in with the theme.

The theme this month was Ladies That Slay

The artwork on the spoiler card as always was incredible and I loved the dragons in the background.

The first items I found in the box was a  tin of tea called Blue's Brew which smelt incredible and even had glitter in it. There was also a small candle from Flick the Wick called Hermione which also smelt incredible.

Next there was an iron on patch with a Hunger Games quote on it along with a sticker with a quote from An Ember in the Ashes.

Next up there was a booksleeve with a design of swords and knives on it, this was a chunky sleeve with a waterproof coating inside it. There was also some publisher swag from This Mortal Coil and The Last Namsara.

Lastly was a Fairyloot exclusive ARC of Furyborn by Claire Legrand, this book isn't due out until May 2018 and is a really chunky book. 

The book this month was The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli. And this month we were given an exclusive cover with a silver shimmer instead of gold.

Synopsis: 

Asha is a dragon-slayer. Reviled by the very people she's sworn to protect, she kills to atone for the wicked deed she committed as a child - one that almost destroyed her city, and left her with a terrible scar.

But protecting her father's kingdom is a lonely destiny: no matter how many dragons she kills, her people still think she's wicked.

Also included was a letter from the author and a signed bookplate.

I really liked this box, most of the items were useful and I like the addition of an ARC too, I also really like the book sleeve. Once again Fairyloot have given us a strong box which fit well with the theme.
