Review:
This is a great installment in the Winternight Trilogy. Vasya is far from a perfect character but that is what makes her so interesting. She does make mistakes and not listen to the advice she is sometimes given. I love her interactions with different people, from the strained closeness with her siblings to the easy friendship with Solovey to the new almost mentorship with her niece. I found the plot twists to be original and had me on the edge of my seat a few times. I cannot wait for the last book!
