Review:
This was the second time I have read the Alanna series and I while I did enjoy this installment I found a few scenes to be rather uncomfortable and others lacking in detail. Again this could be because of the time it was written (early 80's) and the fact that it is a kids book. But I liked the characters and the story moved on at a pretty fast pace.

I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars.
