So today I am going to be unboxing the May 2017 GeekyClean crate. (What follows will contain spoilers so please do not read if you don't want to know what is in the box)
Geeky Clean crate is a monthly box containing 5 products pertaining to a theme. The crate will always contain 1 x soap, 1 x bath product, 1 x candle and 2 x mystery items which could be bath or body products or related fandom items.
The theme this month was By the Angel (Shadowhunters). (Spoiler filled post under the cut)
The first thing I saw upon opening the box was an advert for the crate's theme, the contents of the box were actually on the inside of the box itself which was a cool idea.
The first item I found in the box was a soy wax candle called High Warlock of Brooklyn and had a scent of Red Grape, wine and musk. I loved this candle, it had a strong scent which was pleasant and Magnus is one of my favourite characters in the Shadowhunter series.
Next there was a soap which was scented with cherry and lime and called Team Will and Team Jem. I cannot express how much I love this soap, it smells amazing and cherry and lime are two of my favourite flavours/scents.
After that the next item was a Parabatai bath bomb scented with cucumber, lemon and patchouli. Sadly on mine the rune had smdged so it was hard to tell but it still smells lovely. I don't have a bath but I have a collection of bath bombs for hotels and when I go to stay at my friends house.
The last two items in this box was a Lord of Shadows perfume scented with dragons blood and Adamas mineral eyeshadow. The perfume smells gorgeous and is possibly my favourite item in the box while the eyeshadow was my least favourite as I do not ever wear make up so that is going to a friend.
Overall I really liked this box and while I was a little disappointed that make up was included the other items made up for it. I adore Shadowhunters and felt this was a good mix for the fandom.
I wasn't going to order any more since I am trying to be good but the next theme is Game of Foams and looks really good so I may have to be naughty.
