Leafer Box January 2018 Unboxing

So today I have another Leafer unboxing for you all! I am going to be unboxing the January 2018 Fantasy box(What follows will contain spoilers so please do not read if you don't want to know what is in the box)

Leafer box is a UK monthly book subscription box focused on providing good reading material to avid readers around the world.

The first item I saw in the box was a bar of Chilli chocolate, I sadly cannot stand chilli or hot spicy things at all so can't eat it so I will try and pass this on to someone else.

Next up there was a necklace and keyring with Irish inspired designs as well as a small tartan bow brooch, these were very cute. There was also some incense called Witches Curse.

Next was a bookmark made especially for Leafer Box by Moon Kestrel as well as the additional book, The Living Curse, from the December box (My original December box went missing so they switched it for the January box and included the December extras)

The book this month was Oak and Mistletoe by JZN McCauley.

Synopsis:

A Druid Curse, A Prophesied Love, A Consuming Vengeance… Catherine Green, along with her twin sister and older brother, travels to Ireland on a college graduation trip. Her vacation takes a permanent turn when she lands her dream job at an art and history museum on her beloved Emerald Isle. She meets a handsome stranger named Bowen, an expert of sorts on local ancient studies. Though their first meetings are turbulent at best, Catherine finds herself drawn to him. Unaware that she is the key to breaking a hidden curse, Catherine unleashes the evil madman Conall and his druid followers, imprisoned since ancient times. Tragedy and loss ensue, sprouting within Catherine the deep seeds of rage that thrust her onto the damaging path of vengeance. Confused by the enigma that is Bowen, his mixed signals, and her own feelings, she is swept away with him on an unexpected journey surrounded by myth and long-forgotten knowledge. In order to stop the evil plans of Conall and his reunified army, Catherine must entwine her fate with peril. Her survival is trivial to her as long as Conall dies. She’ll do whatever it takes.

The book sounds fairly interesting and I do like the sound of it.

I have enjoyed getting Leafer box but this month I did feel a little underwhelmed so I will be taking a little break for a while.
