Review #5 - Artemis by Andy Weir

Details:

Title: Artemis
Author: Andy Weir
Publisher: Del Rey
ISBN 13: 978-0091956943

Synopsis:

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. She lives in a poor area of Artemis and subsidises her work as a porter with smuggling contraband onto the moon. But it’s not enough.

So when she’s offered the chance to make a lot of money she jumps at it. But though planning a crime in 1/6th gravity may be more fun, it’s a lot more dangerous…
Review:

I did not expect to enjoy this quite as much as I did. The setting, the characters, the plot all kept me entertained and made me want to carry on reading. I really liked the main character, Jazz, and seeing what she got involved with. I liked her intelligence and determination. The plot was captivating and kept me guessing (I saw a couple of the twists coming but not all of them). Overall this was a fun scifi romp and I highly recommend it.

I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars.
