I am not a big fan of contemporary novels and I don't read them a lot but I had heard a lot of good things about this book so I decided to give it a try. And OMG I am so glad I did! I part listened to the audiobook (read by Lin Manuel Miranda - I didn't know much about him as the Hamilton craze has passed me by but his voice was perfect) and part read it on my kindle - I then ordered the physical book when I'd finished because I needed to own it.
It was a sweet, moving, funny and romantic story. Well written and well paced. I really enjoyed watching the boys friendship develop and the insight into Ari's thoughts was a welcome change. I just loved these characters and I do want to read more of the authors novels.

I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars and would give it more if I could.
